Education Agents
Australian International College recognises that the decision to study overseas in a country like Australia can be a challenging yet highly rewarding experience for international students. Education agents both in Australia and overseas assist Australian International College with the recruitment of international students to its Vocational program in Sydney. Both Australian International College and its agent representatives have a responsibility to provide ethical and accurate advice and services to prospective international students.
Standard 4 of National Code of Practice for Registration Authorities and Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2007 requires that ‘Registered providers take all reasonable measures to use education agents that have an appropriate knowledge and understanding of the Australian international education industry and do not use education agents who are dishonest or lack integrity. Australian International College only enters into a written agreement with agents who have a proven track record in service delivery to international students and have demonstrated a commitment to meeting their obligations under the National Code of Practice 2007.
Under the provisions of the Education Services for Overseas Students Amendment (Re-registration of Providers and Other Measures) Act 2010 Australian International College is obliged to list the names of education agents who represent it and promote Australian International College’s education services.

Enrolling as an education agent with Australian International College
Australian International College recruits educational agents to represent the College and to assist with enrolment of students to the College’s VET courses.
To apply to become an Australian International College representative, agents are requested to complete an Education Agent Application Form.
Under the provisions of the ESOS legislation, Australian International College must enter into a written agreement with agents whom they engage in the promotion of its education services to international students.
